IRIS HANTVERK PLUGIN PART 2

The project explores interventions and adjustments in running production processes as a tactic for creating unforseen solutions and added emotional value to new products. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the producing company Iris Hantverk and takes advantage of the visually impaired workmen’s unique abilities to create sensous products. The collaboration aims at engaging all people involved in the co-authorship of a product’s design and manufacturing history. The design process takes place in an open dialogue where the designer no longer alone owns the artistic control. READ MORE
